In depth

Verdict

Malmo Boy can land the hat-trick here at the main expense of Music To My Ears and Beauchamp Prince. The selection has had a short break since his last win at Towcester when he beat Dr Mann un emphatic fashion. He looks to still be one step ahead of the handicapper and with the ground again in his favour he gets a confident vote. Music To My Ears ran respectably enough last time and this race is less competitive. He has been holding his form well so he is respected. Beauchamp Prince justified favouritism to win well last time at Worcester but this trip stretches his stamina to the limit and he looks opposable on that basis. Henry's Pride will have no problems getting the trip and he is in good heart so he could be capable of filling a place, but Malmo Boy is an improver and he can score again.
