Verdict

Dan Skelton's EXCELLENT TEAM failed to make the grade for Godolphin but showed promise in his new discipline when second to the more experienced Magna Cartor on debut at Southwell when still looking rather green at the business end. He should improve considerably for the experience and receives a useful 6lb from all bar one of his rivals when the claim of the capable Bridget Andrews is factored in. He meets The Way You Dance at levels and the Mulholland gelding is another likely improver after finishing fourth to Alcock And Brown at Worcester on his second outing over timber. The winner that day was trained by Dan Skelton who therefore should have a good line to the form with the selection. Morianour should make a nice hurdler for Evan Williams and is respected along with fit-from-the-flat Horseguardsparade.
