Verdict

Without a great deal of confidence we will opt for Breaking Breeze here ahead of Arabian Moon, Blazing Hills, River Mere and Palouse. Looking through the field. Arabian Moon is not the handicapping force of old although there is no doubt that he is extremely well weighted on the best of his 2002 form and a return to the level of form that saw him score twice in novice chase company would see him competitive. Breaking Breeze missed 2003 through injury but should be sharper for his two runs this season and is now back to a winning mark. Blazing Hills is eight-pounds higher in the ratings for his win here on June 10, and River Mere caused a shock when producing a massive turnaround in form when beating the in-form Princesse Grec over course and distance last time, and races off the same mark today. Palouse has been knocking at the door lately, while Moral Justice scored over course and distance two years ago but has not given too much hope for his chances in his two runs this season. Broadgate Flyer is another to be back to a winning mark, and Sedgefield scorer Cardinal Mark is not without hope but the drop back in trip might not be ideal for him. In what is a tricky race, we will side with Breaking Breeze.
