    Verdict

SHUBAAT finished just over four lengths behind Speedy Tunes over 2m at Huntingdon in March but is 7lb better off here and has won since. He couldn't justify favouritism behind McIlhatton at Fontwell last month but that was no disgrace and probably better form than Speedy Tunes' run behind Hold Court at Ludlow. Newcomer Obstacle was placed twice on the Flat but none of the others are likely to trouble the principals.
