In depth

Verdict

IVOR'S QUEEN (NAP) impressed when beating useful summer types at Newton Abbot and can provide Richard Johnson with a winner as he attempts to close the gap on title race leader, Sam Twiston-Davies. Never seriously troubled to account for Avispa and Let's Hope So, the form looks strong with both victims having scored since and she can take care of Whatsthatallabout, who landed a handicap hurdle here last time. That was an improved effort from the Mulholland mare and she, too, is on the upgrade but the form of the Tizzard inmate looks more potent. Katie Gale has winning form on the level but is learning the ropes over timber and another Mulholland contender, Prettylittlething, and fair Flat performer, Moulin Rouge are more likely each-way options.
