Verdict

Villochely gets the nomination to land the opener despite her lack of hurdling experience against more experienced rivals. Connections opted to reserve Villochely for a fast ground bumper two weeks ago where she lost nothing in defeat behind a well-bred and very promising mare of Alan Kings' called Valleyofthedolls. Donald McCain has proved himself capable of preparing one first time out over obstacles and she could have two much class for her rivals. Winsley Hill relishes faster surfaces although her win last time would not rate as a career best performance. She jumped left throughout and made heavy work of disposing of a 70 rated rival although the front two did draw well clear. Silivri is another that showed a marked improvement in form, that been in a Ludlow novice hurdle last month. That race ties her close together with another of today's rivals Moulin De La Croix. The quirky Fairyland has failed to frank that form while Moulin De La Croix appeared a non-stayer when stepped up to 2m 4f last time. Friend To All is worth a check in the market having not been disgraced in bumpers and appearing as if she failed to stay last time but Villochely is given the nomination to make a winning hurdling debut.
