Verdict

Lucky Redback is the clear pick on form and should take all the beating despite having to carry a penalty. Stablemate Super Fourteen did show a modicum of promise behind Indian Art at Goodwood but failed to build on that next time although it must be said that he was poorly drawn. Free To Choose hasn't shown anywhere near enough to be considered and Fasalee was only one place in front of him at Doncaster whilst Never Lose wouldn't appear to be an obvious candidate for juvenile honours. Rockinit was well behind in a modest affair at Brighton and will need to improve out of all recognition to be a factor. The selection's three runs have all been at Leicester and he appreciated the step up to six furlongs on his latest start when winning an interesting race with something to spare. He has plenty of speed but should stay this seventh furlong on this sharp track and Lucky Redback rates the one to beat.
