In depth

Verdict

A huge field for the bumper and CINDERELLA ROSE is taken to emerge victorious, while Setter's Princess and Wizaller could give her plenty to do. The Kim Bailey-trained pick showed just about the most promise of this field on her first run, when second to Fairview Sue at Southwell on the Fibresand last month. That experience is a plus, while there will surely be some improvement to come, so we will side with her. Setter's Princess came there to win her on her Kempton introduction, but she could not quite see out the effort and finished third. Even so, that was also good experience to bring into this contest and she shouldn't be far away. There are plenty of others in with claims here, one being The Hon Tara, who has been the subject of some support in the market on her previous runs but has ultimately not been able to deliver. A better option looks to be Wizaller. Hen Knight's five-year-old made a pleasing debut at Fontwell and should be better for the run and also this sound surface, so she could improve to make the frame. As always in these races, check out the market for further clues, but without that knowledge we'll take Cinderella Rose to land the prize.
