      Verdict

      Most of these have questions to answer and likely favourite Court Of Law has yet to win under Rules, though has been placed at Stratford and Perth recently off a lower mark. Lost In Newyork's strike rate doesn't inspire confidence so we'll take a chance that a couple of outings has blown away the cobwebs for BADGERS RETREAT. He won twice in 2013 off higher marks and good ground is ideal. It looked as though 3m2f was too far for Shady Glen at Sedgefield but this may be too short.
