Verdict

Whether Kilrush would have caught DOM LUKKA at Fontwell last month is a matter of debate as Charlie Longsdon's stayer was in front when coming down at the last and apparently going best. Neil Mulholland's charge is 4lb better off now but we'll take the latter to recoup losses. Alberobello is only a pound higher than when second over this trip at Kempton last time and must also go on the short-list while top weight Mission Complete isn't out of this as he's starting to come down the handicap again. Upbeat Cobbler started favourite for a better race at Ascot last month after winning at Uttoxeter but dropped away tamely and has a bit to prove now.
