In depth

Verdict

Broken Wings has only ever raced over a mile at Newcastle where he's been going well. Whether he'll be suited by dropping back in trip on this sort of ground is unknown but there doesn't appear any reason why he shouldn't be suited. However, ZATORIUS made a promising debut over this trip at Yarmouth and started favourite when tackling an extra furlong at York but couldn't keep up the pace in the final furlong. He should do better this campaign and gets the nod though Newmarket raiders Busby and Lord Guest should be noted despite moderate opening runs. May Symphonic has looked in need of this sort of trip on both starts to date and it will be a surprise if she's not there at the finish while her stable companion Symposing found a mile just stretching her stamina at Thirsk and he'll be suited by dropping back.
