In depth

Verdict

War Of Succession produced a disappointing run at Musselburgh though he looked in need of this extra furlong. He looks certain to get into contention while Nuncio showed some promise for Roger Charlton and though beaten in a three-horse race at Redcar the winner would be a short price here. TIDAL WATCH was a 50/1 chance on just his second start at Newbury but ran a fine race, keeping on well behind two well-supported rivals. He should make enough progress to take this for his in-form yard. Star Gypsy could prove a threat as he was running on strongly at the finish over this trip at Chelmsford.
