In depth

Verdict

For Cathal could be given one more chance here as he is better than he has shown of late, even though he is on a long losing run that stretches back to 1998. The faster ground should see him in a better light. That said, Father Rector and Brighter Shade have been in top form of late and will take all the beating, with the latter just preferred.
