In depth

Verdict

A clear round should be enough to see Nosferatu open his account, Scott's Mill is the obvious danger with the others having shown precious little. The selection was rated in the nineties during his career on the Flat when handled by Amanda Perrett and should make up into a hurdler. His debut behind a better fancied stablemate was no more than satisfactory but he did improve to run third at Doncaster. A reproduction of that form should suffice. Scott's Mill has been campaigned over fences of late but did manage to win a handicap hurdle in November. The bare form of that needs to be improved upon but he has at least got his head in front. It's difficult to foresee any of the remainder getting involved and this should be straightforwards for Nosferatu.
