Verdict

Gold Ingot went up 8lb for scoring at Newcastle in December 2014 and lost his form but he's been going better lately and is now back on that winning mark. Pay The King ran easily his best race over fences when just held by Swing Hard at Carlisle earlier this month and couldn't get much lower in the ratings but the vote goes to TOP CAT HENRY (NAP). Richard Newland's charge is a good ground performer so his two latest runs should be ignored. His placed efforts in much better races than this at Stratford and Cheltenham in October set the standard and he can concede weight to these moderate rivals. Elenika is another who has been operating at a higher level but his form has been on testing ground and he may find this too quick.
