Verdict

EMMA BEAG reappeared after a long break to finish an excellent runner-up to Sarah Joyce over 2m3f at Clonmel where she was staying on strongly at the finish. With this trip looking certain to suit, she can go one better. Winning point-to-pointer Our Brian made a promising start over timber on this track and this will be much more like his trip while Perrie Hill's close second in a huge field of handicappers at Navan in September puts him right in the picture, though he has had 16 runs over hurdles without winning. Emily Anna ran poorly at Cork after a much better effort at Tramore but Even Though has shown some potential and could reach the frame. Red Giant looks best of the remainder.
