Verdict

PASTICHES was a little disappointing when sent off a hot favourite for a maiden at Ballinrobe but Mick Halford's filly has performed with credit at this level previously and should have few issues with the prevailing going. Fire and Flame bids to get off the mark at the fifth time of asking, and while it's worrying that the blinkers have been applied, this does represent a drop in class. Morga was tried in Listed company at Navan without success and with a fourth to Hanky Panky at Naas reading well, she would a big player if able to translate that form to this quicker surface. Dragon Fei went much better than her odds may have implied at Bellewstown and she can improve for a further step up in trip.
