In depth

Verdict

Five recent bumper winners are engaged here but APT MANOR should be the one to be on. Willie Mullins' mare started long odds-on at Tramore after her excellent second to Fort Defiance at Galway and was never in danger of defeat. She can improve again but King'sandqueen's looks a formidable opponent after a fine debut victory at Kilbeggan. That was over 2m3f, however, and like Benefique, whose debut success was over 2m2f, she may just get outpaced over this trip. Bombalong made all to gain a C&D success in May but this is tougher and her absence could be against her while another C&D winner, Tear Drops, has much more to do.
