Verdict

Last Shot was second at Fontwell in October but reverted to type here last time and isn't one to rely upon. Handtheprizeover goes well fresh so another extended absence isn't necessarily a negative while Amirico could have more to offer over fences. SMOKEY GEORGE won fairly easily at Exeter last month, his first success over the larger obstacles. A 6lb weight rise isn't over excessive and Kim Bailey's charge will be a popular choice to follow up here.
