Bostin had shown practically nothing prior to finishing runner-up to the progressive Polo Springs at Newton Abbot, for which he's understandably been raised 4lb. He's every chance if able to reproduce that level but MIGHTY MAMBO appeals as a safer option. He seemed to relish the return to hurdling when scoring at Fontwell after a spell on Polytrack, though has been upped 9lb for that first hurdling success. But there should be more to come now he's got his head in front and he can follow up for Lawney Hill. Perfect Timing has reasonable claims if forgiven a strangely muted effort last time after a consistent sequence, while Bracken House comes into calculations if ready to roll. He was last seen over fences at Wetherby in November behind Mendip Express prior to which he'd posted a useful series of efforts over timber.
