Verdict

Paul Nicholls is triple-handed but SILSOL looks the one to beat despite conceding weight all round. Nominated by the champion trainer as one to follow last season, he's struck form impressively the last twice, following up an easy victory in an Ayr handicap with a battling success over the useful Kris Spin last time. He seems to be fulfilling his trainer's hopes and can complete the three-timer. Stable companion Pressies Girl looks on the upgrade after a comfortable Chepstow success and should earn place money at least, although Presenting The Way rates the main threat after going close to upsetting a Nicholls hotpot last time. He seems sure to land a novice hurdle sooner or later while Trickaway looked promising on his debut at Perth and is another who should be winning soon.
