In depth

Verdict

Oriental Fixer won on very fast ground at Newton Abbot but has been well beaten into second on softer going so wouldn't want more rain. Charlie Mon won a lower grade contest on that same track in August and is 5lb higher while Red Square Revival's recent better effort was over a much shorter trip. GUERRILLA TACTICS made a reasonable debut over fences last month then won a Warwick handicap hurdle. He hasn't had much racing and with more to offer can gain his first success over the bigger obstacles. Cucklington ran easily his best race to date here in April and would have to be considered if ready after a break while Culm Counsellor has been in excellent form though at a lower level.
