Verdict

Richard Hannon's runners in juvenile races here are always worth a second look but this is a highly competitive affair and Doomah will have to improve markedly on her victory in a Warwick maiden auction to get involved while Paco Boy colt Smaih is set a stiff task on debut. Haxby could be one to follow but the ground will be a lot slower than when he got off the mark at Doncaster. Like his sire Sir Percy, PERCY ALLELINE appeared to relish soft going at Salisbury when beating more experienced rivals. Conditions are in his favour again and Ralph Beckett's youngster can make the most of the 7lb he receives from the hat-trick seeking Justice Good. This looks a big ask for the exposed Abscent Friends and Granny Alice.
