In depth

Verdict

SHAMIR does most of his racing and has done all of his winning so far on the all-weather. He ran well on his return in a decent handicap at Kempton and is too tempting in this allowed to race off a 14lb lower mark back on Turf. Garrison ended last season with a maiden win on the Polytrack and should go well but Chella Thriller is upped in class after scoring at Kempton last time. Better is expected from Bold Duke back up in distance and Gaelic Silver is looking to take advantage of a slide down the weights with Ryan Moore taking over the reins.
