In depth

Verdict

This is probably a bit better than the races Red Tea won at Newmarket and Bath last month and she may struggle to complete the hat-trick. Lolwah's win here in June came on a much softer surface and the form hasn't worked out while the five-year-old Ghinia is thoroughly exposed, though she is starting to come down the weights again and is now only a pound higher than when successful over track and trip in October. MATERIALISTIC (NAP) hasn't raced since making a winning debut at Newmarket in October but the second has franked the form and is now rated 85 so an opening mark of 84 looks manageable. She's unlikely to fail through lack of fitness and a Group 3 entry next month suggests she'll be too good for these.
