In depth

Verdict

Blasim has the best form of those with experience but her third at Chelmsford probably doesn’t amount to much. NINA PETROVNA is a £32,000 daughter of up-and-coming sire Havana Gold out of a mare that has produced winners with her first three offspring to race. She was an early foal and looks a likely type for a race like this. Richard Hannon’s juveniles are always worth a second look here and Swiss Chime has plenty of speed in her pedigree so looks a danger. Mick Channon’s two-year-olds are clearly well forward and Karalini is a half-sister to the prolific Something Lucky and another who will likely attract market support.
