Verdict

LEO MINOR was possibly unlucky on only his second run over the minimum trip at Chelmsford earlier this month. A well-regarded juvenile when at Ballydoyle, Bob Cowell is gradually nursing him back to his best and a race like this should be within his compass. Majestic Hero came to hand early last year, winning off an 8lb higher mark at Epsom. He has a big chance on that evidence while there should be more to come from the lightly-raced Rebecca Rocks, though she may just need this. Bellevarde beat Kinglami at Chepstow in August and was second recently at Southwell but will be carrying 2lb more than her allotted weight.
