Verdict

Soft ground may have been partly to blame for Beach Babe's poor run at Salisbury earlier this month but Jonny Portman's filly has gone up in the weights since scoring at Wolverhampton and Warwick in the spring. Whodathought ran a shocker at Newbury last time but Zaheeb stepped up on previous efforts when going down narrowly at Yarmouth and has to be considered if reproducing that form off a higher mark here. Arctic Mirage has to prove he stays this far but UNCLE DERMOT will have no problems with the trip and has been in decent form of late. Kieren Fallon can steer Brendan Powell's colt to a deserved first success.
