The Michael Jarvis-trained HOT PROSPECT has shown progressive form this term, was good value for his win on soft ground in a decent competitive handicap at Haydock on his latest start three weeks ago and he can follow up in this Group 3 race. Sir Michael Stoute's Class Is Class looks the main danger to the selection having been narrowly beaten by Poet on soft ground in a similar contest to this at that same meeting at Haydock. He has every chance of going one better but Hot Prospect won with plenty in hand and looks open to further improvement so gets the vote. Tom Tate's Distant Memories is held by Class Is Class on running last time, while Saeed Bin Suroor's Flying Cloud is probably better on faster ground. Clive Brittain's Nideeb was narrowly beaten behind Traffic Guard, who runs in the 6.10 race, at Newmarket last time and is another to consider but Hot Prospect looks to be going the right way and is preferred.
