Verdict

Royal Alcor has decent claims off the same mark as when narrowly beaten over track and trip in September. Peachez ended last season with a win over course and distance but has been beaten out of sight in three starts so far this year. Alpine Mysteries is not easily dismissed back over today's trip after attempting 2m here last time and finishing ahead of Admiral Duque at this track before that. Singzak showed signs of a resurgence over 1m4f here recently, but breeding suggests course winner GIOIA DI VITA will appreciate this longer trip and a chance is taken that David Thompson's charge can come out best.
