In depth

Verdict

A non-runner at Yarmouth yesterday, AMTHAL looks to have leading claims in this having finished third at Doncaster on her handicap debut when separating a couple of subsequent winners. Filament Of Gold won over a shorter trip here in June but was well beaten off today’s higher mark last time and Hussar Ballad makes more appeal on his earlier third at Newcastle. Shining Romeo is back on the same mark as when winning at Leicester in April and Tenerezza may do better stepping up in trip today and handicapping for the first time.
