Verdict

GALATA BRIDGE is progressing well having defied a 9lb rise for an earlier course and distance success to score again at Newcastle. He won more cosily last time than the narrow winning-margin suggest and looks worth sticking with. Never Alone’s winning run came to an end at Chelmsford and he steps up in trip while Blowing Dixie has switched yards since finishing fourth at Kempton in July. Bronze River was expected to finish closer at Ascot last time but is preferred to Glenties having won both previous starts on the all-weather.
