In depth

Verdict

Sweetsformysweet gets the confident vote here with Alto Vertigo and Diksie Dancer rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair fourth in a better race behind Moonlight Applause last time out, this looks easier and she need only run up to that mark to win this with plenty in hand. Alto Vertigo rates the main danger on his best form but he disappointed for no apparent reason when well backed last time out so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Diksie Dancer has ran with promise in the past and could improve for the fitting of first time blinkers so should be watched in the market. Lady Lafitte is game and consistent and is sure to run her race but she looks vulnerable to a less exposed type. Of the remainder Piccolo Diamante is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market but Sweetsformysweet sets a fair standard and will be hard to beat.
