Adobe gets the narrowest of votes over Big Mystery, Extemporise, Legal Lover and Musical Gift. This is in the main an uninspiring contest, and it is not with a great deal of confidence that Adobe is selected, especially with his wide draw. However, Mark Brisbourne's veteran shaped as though there was another win in the offing when an unlucky third to Three Ships over the course and distance last time. Granted a better passage today, he can run a big race. Big Mystery has a few lengths to find with the selection on latest running, but it would be no surprise if he were to close the gap here. Extemporise was unlucky when hampered at Yarmouth in October and is another to consider along with Legal Lover, although his best form has come on Southwell's slower surface. Musical Gift was third in selling company here last time but may be good enough to be placed at least as well. For the winner though we return to Adobe.
