      Verdict

THIS GIRL made a winning debut over 6f at Haydock last year and finished third over a mile at the same track on last month’s reappearance. She’ll be sharper today and gets a tentative vote over this longer trip. Al Reef also steps up in distance on his first start since April having showed ability at Yarmouth while Birch Grove is another with a recent run at Kempton under her belt, though she’s steps down in distance. The remainder with experience are harder to recommend but the newcomer Tranquil Storm cost €380,000 and is worth a second glance in the betting.
