Verdict

Seven Clans continues to improve and won over track and trip on his reappearance earlier this week. He carries 6lb extra today while though Derek Duval scored over a shorter trip here in February, he was beaten off today’s higher mark last time. Broughtons Story also looks high enough in the weights now but Roman De Brut is back on a winning mark while STONIFIC has been raised only 3lb for finishing second at Doncaster last month. He drops down a grade for this and David O’Meara’s charge gets the nod on that form.
