Verdict

NINTH HOUSE lost no caste in defeat last time out and he can regain the winning thread at the main expense of Vanadium and Bonne. Ruth Carr has enjoyed a good season and Ninth House was only narrowly beaten by Ensanare here last time. The drop back in trip will suit today and Seb Sanders takes over in the saddle so he makes plenty of appeal. Vanadium has shown a fair level of consistency on the all-weather and he does have course and distance winning form, but he also has a dreadful draw today and luck will need to play its part if he is able to score from his wide berth. Bonne has shown some fair form on the turf and she remains unexposed, but she has yet to be placed in three runs on the all-weather. Jeremy Gask has his string in fine so from the plum draw Chief Exec is respected, while Tri Chara may be in the grip of the handicapper at present and he is probably worth opposing. We will stick with Ninth House as the pick.
