      Verdict

MISTER ANGRY showed enough on his debut to make him the one to beat today; the list of alternatives is headed by Newton Circus and Llandovery. The selection was only narrowly beaten by his stablemate Pallantes Cross on his debut at Musselburgh. The front pair came a long way clear of the remainder that day so the form looks solid enough and he may well have been found a suitable opportunity to open his account today. Newton Circus is another who showed up well on his debut, but he had the run of the race and the first six home were bunched together which does leave a question mark over the strength of the form. Llandovery ran in a hot maiden at Newmarket on his debut and he should come on plenty for the experience, but his draw in stall 11 is a big negative. Similar comments would apply to Lutine Bell. A market move for any of the newcomers should be noted, but Mister Angry looked a smart prospect on his debut and he can get his head in front.
