Verdict

The Beduth Navi is one to consider in this weak event, but Reg Hollinshead is double handed here with Dora Corbino and Think Quick, and the former gets the vote. This daughter of Superpower improved for the step up in trip to finish third behind Fleeting Moon at Southwell last time and the extra furlong today should not be a problem. The pick of Think Quick's form was a close up third behind Sungio and in the context of this event it was a reasonable effort. The Beduth Navi showed improved form to run second to Little Richard at Lingfield last time. Prior to that he was second to the very easy winner Bella Pavlina over course and distance and can certainly make his presence felt here. Ziggy Dan and Manashin have shown no worthwhile to date, but are lightly raced and open to improvement. However, in what could turn out to be a tactical battle, we will side with the most experienced jockey and give Dora Corbino the nomination.
