This should be plain sailing for Supreme Salutation, who on official figures has something in hand on his rivals. The winner of three races in the month before Christmas, David Baron's seven-year-old was some way below his best when trounced by Littlemissattitude here last month. He was back to something like his best here last time and a reproduction of that effort would be more than good enough in this. Littlemissattitude showed improvement for the fitting of a visor here last month, but then disappointed on her latest, where she was some way behind the selection. She is 7lbs better off for just over 12 lengths, which leaves her with plenty to find. A bigger threat may come from Leonora Truce, who was only two lengths behind Supreme Salutation here back in November, and is 3lbs better off with her rival. Nick Littmoden's charge confirmed her well being last week and she looks a live threat.
