Sir Lancelott won this in 2017 and scored at Wolverhampton at this time last year. He finished behind runner-up Cockney Boy in an amateurs' race at Chelmsford last month and the latter could go well again but patience has run out with Big Bad Lol, placed yet again when starting favourite at Lingfield last time. CAPE GRECO gave notice he’d been winning soon with a couple of placed efforts before duly obliging at Lingfield a fortnight ago. This longer trip should suit on that evidence and an apprentice’s allowance negates a rise in the weights.
