Novalist needs some cut to show his best on the Turf and although he's a winner on the Fibresand at Southwell, he may find this surface on the fast side. CONE DONKEY was only beaten a head on her previous start over C&D and arrives on the back of a win at Catterick. There should be more to come from her and this won't take much winning. Imjin River went close on the Polytrack at Lingfield before a below-par effort on the Turf at the same track while Kai won here back in May and gets Silvestre De Sousa on board today.
