        Verdict

        Thermal Column finally opened his account over a longer trip here last time. But BILLY BOND was not far away in fourth and it could be the latter's turn to record his first win reopposing on better terms. Zed Candy Girl is back on a winning mark and Dove Mountain was well ahead of Granola when successful over 7f at Ayr in September. Duke Of Dunton went close here last month only to disappoint off today's mark on his latest start while Foxcover was placed at Lingfield during the summer but has been well beaten since.
