Verdict

SYRIAN has won his last two starts in similar company over the extended mile here. This extra furlong should be no problem and Ian Williams' charge can land his hat trick at the chief expense of Faithful Ruler. The latter finished runner-up to the selection last time but looks unlikely to take revenge despite re-opposing on slightly better terms. Ahlawy and Countess Salome have both gone off the boil of late, but Dream Of Fortune can do better back at this level without looking good enough to win.
