    Verdict

Paul Howling's Aegean Prince ran much better when chasing home Sri Kuantan at Yarmouth last month and he has every chance off the same mark again this evening but this looks a better race and preference is for MEZZANISI, who is gets the vote over Wind Flow. Chris Dwyer's gelding went down by the narrowest of margins behind Hendersyde at Kempton last month and he has solid claims off just a 3lb higher mark here but he has struggled to win off a mark this high before and may have to settle for minor honours again. Reg Hollinshead's Distinctive Image disappointed at Newmarket earlier in the month but may appreciate the return to the Polytrack so cannot be discounted. Jeff Pearce's Teasing ran better at Windsor last time and has slipped to a winning mark so he makes more appeal than Jagger, who has been well held in recent outings. The vote then goes to Michael Bell's Mezzanisi, who ran to a consistent level of form last term and again on his reappearance at Epsom last month. A reproduction of that effort should suffice in this company.
