Verdict

LADY TURPIN showed the benefit of an earlier comeback run with a cosy two-length success in an apprentices’ race at Southwell last week. A winner without a penalty, Richard Fahey’s filly can go in again. Dunquin finally opened his account when scoring over a shorter trip here last month while Surround Sound has been thereabouts off similar marks recently. Consortium seems better over further but handicap debutant Mamnoon finished a lot closer when allowed to make the running last time.
