Verdict

ALFREDTHEORDINARY looks the most likely winner of this handicap; the list of dangers is headed by Malinsa Blue and Turkish Sultan. The selection was only narrowly beaten last time when he chased home Yes Eighteen at Great Leighs. That form was franked by Yes Eighteen on Tuesday and although Alfredtheordinary has not been done any favours by the draw, he does look to have rock solid form. Malinsa Blue has the benefit of a decent draw and Brian Ellison's mare should also be suited by this drop in trip. She failed to get home over a longer trip last time out and she looks worth another chance tonight. Turkish Sultan has been knocking on the door but he has a poor strike-rate and he is hard to fancy with confidence from his high draw. Reg Hollinshead has his string in good form at present so Tri Chara could go well at a price, but if Alfredtheordinary can get a decent pitch from his high draw then he should be tough to beat.
