In depth

Verdict

Annes Rocket has run to a fair level up to press and gets the nod over Liberty Valance and Plenty Of Action. The last named was as green as grass on her debut and never landed a blow as a result. However, there are plenty of winners in her pedigree, so it would come as no surprise to see a more accomplished effort now she knows a bit more about racing. A market move in her direction would be interesting. Liberty Valance was also undone by inexperience when he was introduced here earlier in the month, but did show flashes of ability. He was well backed on his debut, so it will noteworthy if he attracts the same interest today. However, Annes Rocket holds the edge in terms of what they have shown so far and, with his yard in great form just now, the mount of Pat Dobbs gets a confident vote here.
