Verdict

MYTHICAL MADNESS has been been back to something like his best since claimed by David O’Meara and won a similar contest here earlier in the month. He’s 3lb higher today but beat Examiner, Solar Deity and Perfect Cracker last time with Winterlude and Ready further behind. Our Channel will appreciate the return to the all-weather having landed a double at Kempton back in March but John Reel has done all his winning over further so far. High Baroque returned to action with a good effort at Lingfield but has something to prove in this higher grade.
