In depth

Verdict

Star Rider probably benefited from the early departure of favourite My Khaleesi when making a winning start over hurdles at Fontwell but Hughie Morrison’s Flat winner is still preferred to fellow penalised runner Same Circus and Kelso third Moscanisi. THE NIPPER was sent off favourite for a Listed bumper at the Punchestown Festival in April but crashed through the running rail when in front. She’ll ready for this and can open her account at the first time of asking though Apalis, a winner on the Flat in France, is worth noting for future reference.
